My Wonderlace Book at Barnes & Noble!

Hey there!  I’m so glad that you’re visiting my website.  There are so many wonderful things I want to show  you!

But, first, let me tell you a little bit about myself.

I am most proud of being a mom.  I have two amazing sons, Tim and Ben.  Tim recently graduated from Champlain College in Vermont (with a degree in Video Game Programming) and he is extremely talented, caring and creative.   He just got a full time job and his own apartment, too…I’m super proud of him!  My youngest, Ben, is affectionate, has an amazing gift for drawing and always makes me laugh every day.

My husband, Ian, is the Master of Computers and has not only created my SleepyEyes app, but helped to format both of my books, Dreamscape and Wonderlace.  When I have a question, he is always there to help me.  He has been one of my best supporters and has encouraged me in everything I do.  He is my best friend.  (We’ve been married over 24 years…whoa!)

As you can see, I am very, very lucky!

Like most Geminis, I have many, many obsessions hobbies and passions…*grin*.   Some of these include:

knitting, crochet, sewing

reading, journaling, writing

photography, archery, hula hooping

tarot cards, crystals, essential oils

singing, DIY beauty products, yoga

veganism and playing the ukulele…

These are the activities that take up my time when I am not designing knitwear or doing the things that moms normally do. I’m grateful to have a little bit of time for everything.  Yay!

Professionally, I find myself with these qualifications:

  • B.S. in Mathematics
  • Certified Hatha Yoga Instructor (Integrated)
  • Reiki Master Practitioner (Usui Terra Mai)
  • Certified Hoopnotica Hoopdance Instructor (Levels 1 & 2)
  • USA Archery Instructor (Level 1)

You can find more information HERE.

Hula Hooping!

Hula Hooping!

I was very happy working for over 2 years at Acupuncture Whole Health (as Office Maven and Volunteer Coordinator), for this wondrous space was not only relaxing, but a place of community, support and healing.   Now that the owner (and my dear friend), Jaimie Champagne, is now working at the Nashua Acupuncture Center, I am currently spending my time designing new knitwear patterns and looking for the perfect job.  (If you have any amazing suggestions for me in the southern NH area, let me know!)

Personally, I am:

  • A hug hog (must share hugs often!)
  • Very short (5’0″)
  • I love, love Masterpiece dramas and BBC comedies!  (Vicar of Dibley, Keeping Up Appearances, The Paradise, Downton Abbey, IT Crowd, Call the Midwife, Miranda, Agatha Christie Mysteries)
  • Sometimes inappropriate (whoops!)
  • Usually super organized and very efficient
I also lost over 90 pounds in the past year...yay!

I also lost over 90 pounds in the past year…yay!

Thank you so much for getting this far on the page and I hope you’ll visit again.  You might not want (or need) a new knitting pattern (or book) today, but I can guarantee you might want one in the future…or, at the very least, as a thoughtful gift to a knitting friend.  And, when that time comes, I will be here (well, virtually! lol).

Until that day…

Happy Knitting and many hugs!
